Located on one of the most beautiful streets of Amsterdam and directly adjacent to the Vondelpark this monumental semi-detached city villa of approx. 350 m² with elevator is situated. L.P. Zocher, who also designed the Vondelpark, made the original design for the Willemspark villa district, which is still one of the most prominent neighbourhoods in Amsterdam. Those who wanted to build and live in the beautiful Willemspark – like some of the founders of the Vondelpark – had to meet strict urban planning and aesthetic requirements. In 1899, architect Theo Sanders designed ‘a double villa’ on the edge of Vondelpark in the prescribed 'Willemspark style'. He did so at his own expense and risk. One of the villas became his own residence.

The garage and the entrance are accessible through the spacious front garden. The beautiful imposing hall, has a very high ceiling and stained glass windows with ornate sunflowers, provides access to the house by way of a stately marble staircase. Call floor

Second floor
